About Pizzanet

What is Pizzanet?

Pizzanet is a Finnish platform that brings pizzerias together in one place. Restaurants get a free website with menus and ordering features. Pizzanet serves as a search portal. Restaurants handle their own deliveries and customer service.

Why Pizzanet?

Wolt charges restaurants 20–30% on every order. For many small restaurants, this eats up nearly all their margin. The situation is difficult: outside the app you stay invisible, but inside every dish barely makes any profit. This also means higher prices for consumers.

A fair alternative

Pizzanet is a domestic, restaurant-friendly alternative. The platform is funded by advertising, and we charge only a 5% commission on online payments. Otherwise the service is completely free for restaurants.

Service fee €40 order Restaurant gets
Wolt 20–30% €8–12 fees ~€28–32
Pizzanet 5% €2.00 fees €38.00

Pizzanet only charges commission on online payments. Cash payments are completely free.

For customers, this means lower prices because restaurants don't need to raise prices to cover huge commissions.

How it works

A restaurant registers for free and gets its own page on Pizzanet. Menus and contact details are managed directly in the browser. Customers find restaurants through search, map or listings and order directly from the restaurant.

Payments

Pizzanet supports multiple payment methods. Online payments are processed securely through Stripe, and funds go directly to the restaurant's own Stripe account. Money does not pass through Pizzanet.

Orders can be paid with:

Pricing for restaurants

Using the platform is free for restaurants. Costs only arise from online payments:

Example: Customer orders €40 → Pizzanet commission €2.00 → Stripe fee approx. €0.85 → restaurant receives approx. €37.15.

No fees are charged on cash payments.

Responsibility

Pizzanet acts as an order-relaying platform. The sales contract is between the customer and the restaurant. The restaurant is responsible for food quality and delivery.

FAQ

When are funds paid out to the restaurant?

Payments go directly to the restaurant's Stripe account. Stripe automatically pays out to the restaurant's bank account, usually once a week. Money does not pass through Pizzanet.

What if the restaurant doesn't accept an order?

The customer receives a full refund, and neither party incurs any fees.

Who sends the receipt?

Pizzanet sends an order confirmation by email that serves as a receipt. The restaurant may also provide its own receipt.

How do refunds work?

The restaurant handles refunds directly with the customer.
